Well, it's that time of year again when people around here get out the tinsel and the ornaments and pick out their favorite tree... by the roadside. That's right. There's a
certain road up over a mountain pass connecting our part of town with the rest of Huntsville. Every year for the past several, people pick out trees along this road to decorate. There are lots of pines but even maple and birch trees are singled out for special treatment. My favorite last year was someone hung dvds on a tree. The dvds
sparkled in the sunlight, it was great. Only once have I seen a tree that was totally distastefull- an underwear tree.
Last year we waited too long to pick our tree, and all the good ones where taken. So we had to end up hiking up the side of the hill... So this year we started early. And we were
by no means the first.

What a great tradition! Your tree looks like a good one. Is Molly required to stand there for the whole season?
